Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Atwood specializes in preventative health medicine and accessible care to give Edgewater pets a winning hand when it comes to affordable, compassionate veterinary care. A graduate of The Royal Veterinary College, University of London and a lifelong animal advocate, Dr. Atwood specializes in wellness medicine, spay and neuter surgery, and community cat programs, including TNR.
Her approach to care is warm, understanding, and community-focused. She believes in empowering pet owners through education, preventive medicine, and transparent communication. Whether she’s giving a puppy their first vaccines or helping a community cat feel less stressed during their time at the clinic, Dr. Atwood treats every patient with kindness, patience, and respect.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her own pets, supporting local rescue efforts, and dreaming up new ways to make veterinary care more accessible for the pets and families of Edgewater.
